Cocovolt E-Scooter instructions

No one can deny driving in Thailand and on Koh Samui can be dangerous. There are a lot of accidents and traffic can be excotic and hectic. Still driving safely is totally doable, but it might need a bit more special attention and focus than what you are used to in your homecountry.

Key things the keep in mind:

– Stay focused and eyes on the road and on the mirrors.

– Don’t drive too fast and don’t do unexpected moves.

– Use the horn to signal people you are passing by them. On an E-Scooter you are a ghost in the traffic

– Use turning signals to signal your intentions.

– “If you can’t see it , you don’t know what’s there” is a good rule of thumb to follow.

– It’s left sided traffic

– Roads are in fair condition, but you have to keep an eye open for potholes.

– Sandy spots and Road in general after rain can be slippery.

– Anticipate traffic situations and don’t take unnecessary risks

– Wear a helmet- always.
